Network resources mainly refer to the sum of all kinds of information resources that can be used by network environment. Network resources are also called network information resources.

 

(1) Network information resources refer to the collection of information contents recorded in digital form, expressed in multimedia form, stored in magnetic media, optical media and all kinds of communication media of network computer, and transmitted through computer network communication.

 

(2) Network information resources refer to the collection of various forms of education-related knowledge, materials, intelligence and information contained on the network.

 

(3) Network information resources refer to the sum of all kinds of information resources utilized through computer networks, including electronic literature, database, digital literature information, digital bibliography information, electronic newspapers and periodicals, etc.

 

(4) Network information resources refer to the information resources that store text, image, sound, animation and other forms of information in the form of electronic data in non-printed carriers such as CD-ROM and reproduce them through network communication, computer or terminal.

 

(5) Network information resources refer to the collection of information that can be obtained by human beings through the network, which is jointly developed, produced and transmitted with the help of computers and other equipment to meet human needs.
